Make the most of your visit to The Elf Explorer with a festive bite to eat, a warming brew, or a sweet treat before or after your journey. Pop into Rudolph’s Refreshments for a bite to eat or a proper Yorkshire brew, whilst the grown-ups can sneak away to Bar Humbug for a festive tipple or two!

Rudolph’s Refreshments, tucked inside The Exhibition Shed, is the perfect place to fuel up before your festive adventure!
Warm up with a delicious range of hot sandwiches, including classics like bacon, sausage, turkey & stuffing, and more. You’ll also find a hearty selection of hot pies and pasties fresh from the warmer.
Treat yourself to a comforting tea or coffee, or indulge in our show-stopping Baileys Hot Chocolate, lavishly topped with cream — a festive favourite!
Got a sweet tooth? Enjoy a tempting spread of sweet treats and confectionery, including our ever-popular gingerbread trains.
Looking for something extra festive? Don’t miss our Festive Dipping Box, perfect for sharing, or go all-in with the mighty Giant Yorkshire Pudding — a real crowd-pleaser.
We’ve also got a selection of cold drinks and handy snacks to take along for the journey.

Fancy a festive tipple?
Our volunteer-run bar will be open in Marquee at the end of The Exhibition Shed, so you can grab your drinks before you board the train, as there will be no bar on the train.
We’ll be serving hand-pulled real ale, draught lager, bottled ales, lagers, and ciders, along with Hot Mulled Cider for a cosy winter warm-up. You can also enjoy top-shelf spirits and miniature Baileys to make your coffee festive, or add some sparkle to your trip with Prosecco and a selection of wines.
